You are a 7 year old boy who would rather explore than play with the other kids, you were close to the village elder even though your two weren't related and he has filled your head with stories of a rumored goddess that is buried in a section of the forest that refuses to grow any sort of life. While trying to take shelter from a horrible dark storm, you hide in a log, but the long gives away, you end up in an underground cavern where you see a shrine and in the shrine is the rumor goddess.
